I’m am so odd, I have the mind of a guy; Kat & I take Kusher out cuz it will attract boys… then people were talking about condoms in case of an emergency ; & it made me think of getting one for my wallet lol & only guys do these shit ~
Why are guys only expected to carry condoms in their wallet? Why does wanting to take responsibility for your sexual health mean you have the “mind of a guy”? Why can’t it mean that you’re a smart young woman who knows how to protect herself?
I’m not attacking you, okhayeboss, I think it’s great that you’re thinking of carrying protection with you - that’s very important. And it sounds like you’re the kind of person who is determined to get what you want out of sex/love. And that’s awesome.
I just think it’s interesting, and this post reflects this attitude, that society tells us that being proactive in your sex life, whether by seeking out partners in a way that is seen as “aggressive” or by taking responsibility for your own health and safety, is a “man’s mindset.”
